week 2 reflection

                           week 2 reflection.

 My high light for this week was spelling.

What i found challenging was also the spelling.

weekly reflection week one

                                     Weekly Reflection

At the start of the week I felt so happy to see all my friends and even happier to join a other class                 and have a  new teacher  and new people to join us.                                                          

 The highlight of my week has been fine but not when we had to draw our self's for our art it was hard but we made it.

something I found challenging was starting back at school and finding some new friends and the maths test.

I am really looking forward to coming to school every day and having a new teacher and learning more.

Camp at school

At pompallier school our senior camp got cancelled because the weather was not so good. So we did some activity for the day and we did a rotation of different sport. Then after the little kids left from school we did an amazing race there were around 8 teams for the amazing race and the winners were the blue team.

On Tuesday we went to Matai Bay for the day and went  for a swim but the weather was a over cast and we did a lot of activity then it started to rain on us. 

Wednesday we went to the movies and we watch  the war with Grandpa and we also had pop corn,drinks,loiles and then we went back to school.

Thursday we went to the pools for the day then we and then we had lunch and for lunch we had hot chips- and sandwiches.

Friday we had a normal day.

 

Angles

 Angles

Today in kakapo we have been learning about angles. Angles are when you measure something with a protractor.a protractor is we you measure angles. In angles there are acute that is smaller than 90 degrees and obtuse is more than 90 degrees and then theirs reflex straight  and revolution and right angle. An acute is smaller than 90 degrees a 90 degrees angle is a just like a L but it has a half of square. An obtuse is more than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees. An right angle is a 90 degree angle is the L but with and half a square. It was hard to put the right pit in in the right place.

cross country

 On Thursday pompallier school had their school cross country. 

At 9:00  we all jumped on to the buses and went to our teachers farm then we started to race at 10:00. We had to run 3 km up hills down hills and through a lot of mud and through a little creek fill of mud and grass and other

At 10:30 my year level started to race and it was fun running through the creek and mud and other things.
